![]() an example of how board gaming can invoke creative thinking and self reflection far beyond the confines of a rule book and a pile of cardboard pieces. this comment went much deeper than I thought it would, but there you have it. these sorts of negative experience sessions are few and far between. when a game goes over well, it supremely outweighs any disappointing or underwhelming game sessions where other’s “Likes” didn’t happen to align with mine. This experience was living proof of that. I need to be confident with my game picks, and just simply understand that all games aren’t for everyone. it’s like I’ve got some insecurities about others not enjoying a fantastic, hidden information “Stock Market” style board game as much as I do! I don’t know. but I guess now that I’m thinking about it, there is some sliver of uncertainty that lurks in the back of my head which tells my brain not to convey confidence for certain game genre’s. I should’ve shown this game to the group sooner.
